Lorna King is a UK based Make-up Artist who done a fantastic job at our 'Fusion and Music' fashion show. We catch up with her to find out all about her favourite Make-up Brands and top tips!!. What make-up brands do you use? I use a mixture of brands, but would have to say my favourites are-Pout, Benefits, MAC and Rimmel. What is the best way to protect the skin during the winter? I use a foaming face wash, a skin brightening toner and moisturise. I recommend Botanics range at boots or dermalogica. For the body I use either palmers cocoa butter or body shops body butters.   Which cosmetic product can you not leave the house without? dermloica tinted moisturiser i love it, lip gloss especially minty ones like pouts plumper or bougoise. Your Top tip for those with dry skin? cleanse, tone and moisturise and wear a really rich night cream.. Share with us a beauty secret… I have combination skin so I hate creamy moisturisers, unless I’m using it as a night cream! So i use a gel moisturiser-botanics do a really good one and it keeps my skin moisturised even in the cold. But to give my skin that extra dewy look i mix benefits high beam with my foundation or moisturiser to give my face a great glow. Have a good winter everyone and embrace the cold.   S/S 08

She moved to London 5 years ago and works in editorial, advertising, music, and TV. Tip on achieving this seasons looks? Tips for this season's looks are, go dramatic! Smoky eyes with purples, plums, and chocolate browns and rusts. Lip colours are deep reds and burgundy's If you don’t like smoky eyes then do a strong lip colour instead or vice versa for the lips, but don’t be afraid of what you’re not used to! It can still look fab! What make-up brands do you use? I use a range of make up brands. My faves are MAC, Stila, Laura Mercier, and Clinique Which cosmetic product can you not leave the house without? I cannot leave the house without my Embryolisse concentrated cream moisturizer. It will forever be in my kit. Its from France and its the best for all skin types. Your Top tip for those with oily skin? My top tip for oily skin is even though you’re oily you must moisturize! Your skin still needs it and may help to control the excess sebum your skin is producing. If you dry out your skin too much it will get more oily! Use a lightweight moisturizer for oily skin and use it everyday.
