La Dolce Vita Style Lounge:A showcase of Italian Fashion

International fashion lovers enjoyed La Dolce Vita with Viva Italia’s STYLE Lounge in association with Nolcha’s catwalk shows,directed by our Fashion Director, Yolande Letshou,during the vibrant Italian Festival at The Grand Hall Olympia. Strutting down the Catwalk were the gorgeous models from Clicquisse wearing the amazing shoe collection brought to you by Esska. The Gala evening’s shows were hosted by the Fashion expert on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy UK and Richard and Judy, Julian Bennett.  Highlights of the Gala evening include Entrepreneur/TV presenter, Hofit Golan strutting the catwalk for designer Ralph and Russo, and “Samanda”, Sam and Amanda, the twins from Big Brother UK showcasing designer Antonella Manoli.

Hofit Golan states, “It was such a pleasure to participate in the shows for The STYLE Lounge at La Dolce Vita. The dress I wore by Ralph and Russo was absolutely beautiful.” Julian Bennett adds, “Having worked on many fashion shows around the world, The STYLE Lounge by Nolcha was a complete success. The clothes were beautiful and reminded me of Couture designers like Dior and Galliano. I thoroughly enjoyed hosting the event and hope to do it again next year!”

For the first time ever on the catwalk at The STYLE Lounge, fashion and dance were fused by bringing the break dance crew from B-Better to showcase their talents for the COW! fashion show. Crowds were over capacity in standing room only to see this amazingly colorful and high energy show.

Other shows included Italian fashions from Isabella Zocchi Collezione (shoes and bags), Imago Tricot Cashmere (clothing and house wares), Creazioni Antonella, Maison La Cloche, Gipe and Patricia King-Davies World Collection .

Rounding out the events at The STYLE Lounge were interactive and fun Catwalk Talks with design consultant and personal stylist, Ivana Nohel, make-up demonstrations from Master Pascal Firenze and how-to hair demonstrations by Claudio Contrasti of the Contrasti Salon in London for Revlon Professional.

In addition to the runway shows and demos, guest enjoyed a complete shopping experience on the mini “corso como” with Satellite 3 cosmetics, Kito handbags & jewelry, bors amore handbags, Western Wind cashmere, Marinella ties, Diamondog pet accessories and many others.
